The 427 FE actually displaces 425.98 ci. That is close enough for me.

Don't forget the Oil Leakers, I mean Detroit Diesel guys as well today. If it wasn't for 426 ci 2 stroke diesel engines, our hot rods would be a lot less interesting....

The power plant of choice for my new 3 window project the 426 HEMI . I'm getting the best of both worlds a full fendered Ford Deuce 3 window and the almighty 426 HEMI.
Adding a set of pie crust edged slicks under those rear fenders will help with the traction when I decide to use the loud pedal fuel economy be dammed.

OMG !! What !!?? No over drive Trans ? Lock up converter? 2.70 rear gears ?? Are you serious!!?? You might be turning over 1800 rpm at 60 !! And don't get me started on gas mileage!
