    So let's see if I've got this straight... this guy goes to the salt for the first time ever, with a car that he just finished assembling the day before, and joins the 200 club on a shakedown pass on the first day, in first gear.....
    That's impressive.

    I like how the news papers kept having to emphasize “ no high school education , no engineering degree etc etc “
    Like Art was an elbow licking crayon sniffer !! Hate how the “ trades” and being handy were looked down on for so long .

    the man built some incredible machines and did so much with so little , inspiring to say the least .
