Maybe you should take a look at the "Capitalist Blight" in some areas of the U.S. during the same time period. The U. S. is the only nation in the world that prospered financially during WW II due to the near zero unemployment situation at wages that were higher than previous, and incidentally pulled us out of "The Great Depression". Also, as part of The Commonwealth, Canada was financially tied to England, therefore had tons of money sucked out of their economy to help England rebuild after WW II.
His in depth knowledge of "Worldly" things is simply amazing. This is not the first time he has insulted a neighbour with ill found facts, it gets tiring.
