Two Columbia's for sale..in NZ though. PM me if you are serious. I could be interested in buying your 33 axles and brakes. Some straight front fenders for sale over here too.
Dirty fuel came past and helped out lining the cab with dyna mat. Don't know if it's a real Hot rod thing?? But I don't like rattles and excess road noise.
Just dummying up the 24 stud. Thickstun inlet and Eddie Meyers (repo) heads hope to replace the heads when some originals come up. Going to have the manifold & inlet polished. Think I'm going to run a magneto. Have a baker V drive that needs reco May run with that but leaning to a Harmon Collins.
You sir have chosen wisely. I'm not sure if you have seen this build but I think you will like this one. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/barn-find-33-ford-5-window-coupe.613312/
Thanks IronFord I hadnt seen that. Great looking ride I don't have that skill set and there will surely be some average repairs under my paint also as it has been restored way back. I not planing on any body work at the moment just want to get her on the road and drive the wheels of her. The motor I'm running has had a fresh'n up but once on the road I hope to build a real nice 59ab stroker for the old girl. I thought I had one I purchased in the states a few years back turned out to have a stuffed block! Kept the crank to use at a later stage. Thanks for the link mate.
Pretty happy today postman showed up with these.... Original Polished PM-7 and Air cleaner Thanks to fellow Hamber Jones0369 Can't stop smiling wanted a Og air cleaner for ages.
Not everyday you see an original Thickstun air cleaner! Nice score FNPUNK, now when do we slap it in?
The cool thing about ditching fenders to build a hot rod... Just slide' m in the rafters for another day. There are much harder to reverse modifications.
What's the update on this FNPUNK? Are there any pics you are going share as I know for a fact that sweet little engine is in...
Well Dirty Fuel haven't progressed a whole lot lately as you know engine had to come back out as the clutch pressure plate was faulty. Here's some pics to keep it rolling. F1 steering conversion
Steering gave me the shits It was in and out like a honeymooners dick! Trying to get the column in the right spot to fit both brake & throttle pedals to fit to right of it. Lucky my feet aren't too big.
Column & shaft needed mods to where my 40 steering wheel . Also need a belled end to meet the bottom of the wheel.
