Not much here, but this is a '53 photo of Marilyn in front of her apartment in West Holylwood; any idea what the car is?
J.J., I think you may be right; just found a site that lists all her cars, '50 Pontiac convertible is listed, next was a '53 Caddy.
Good gawd' .... schhwing !!! Hubba, hubba man .... where the heck' did that come from. First time viewer. Nice !
Gee, MM and I owned the same make of car! I once had a '53 Lincoln Capri 4dr. Great solid car. You could not tell if the car was running or not. Smoothest engines I ever owned!
Who CARES?! LOOK at this woman. This is before the days of breast implants, liposuction, dental veneers, hair weaves, an on and on and she looked like THAT? Holy schmoly she was stop the clocks gorgeous!
but she did have a nose job and bleached hair, shows it in the film "Norma Jean and Marilyn". No one is exempt from the superficial Hollywood lifestyle.
I recall reading years ago she bleached ALL her hair including.....you know. Still a real true beauty, not like Kardashians, sick of them........

The shots were taken by George Barris -- the photographer, not the famed auto customizer. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Exploitation can be a desperate means of income. And the most talented and luckiest ones can't decide if they ever really want to find an off switch, but all too often go with a kill switch instead.
I'm not a big MM fan but have to say she looks quite fetching in that top photo HRP put up. Apparently not enough for that dude in the background though.
Now, if it doesn't all match, they get out the razor. Oh wait, they do that either way! MM did have a "look" that was/is oh, so "come hither"
She missed the eyebrows, bleaching it all is not unusual. Dated a lot of "blond" girls, I got familiar with hair dye and root touch up kits, not a big deal to bleach the landing strip, or just get rid of it.
I noticed that myself, there is a earlier photo of Norma Jean taken in 1938/39 before she was famous standing on the running board of a very similar coupe. She was a beautiful woman. HRP
That's because she was. If you lived the way she had to you'd stay pretty wasted most of the time too.
