    Hi guys and girls

I have been following the HAMB for quite a while now , I am from Durban in South Africa and I run an as agency as well as shoot cars - www.dylantog.com

I am currently rebuilding a 1946 ford pickup it has matching numbers I have just found out , but in saying this the engine is a 49 flathead 239 from what I can see , but it's a 46 body ?

I would love some advice on this dilemma ...

Have a look at my build blog here and let me know any ideas ?

    Regards
    Dylan

Thanks so much guys , I have done some more research as well as having some great experience stripping the motor and truck , so it's a 49 I have the chassis and engine/bell housing number - would anybody be able to help me with the identification of these numbers , the truck is a 47 body ... But the engine (1949) and chassis are the same numbers ?
