Good evening all from Prudhoe Bay Alaska,
I am looking for opinions on how you would classify my car. Is is a hot rod, mild custom, or a street rod? What do you think?
    Thanks for your input,
    Matt

  2. I think you should drive it and not worry about labeling it.

Whatever you want to call it I hope for your sake it's got a heater in it living up there in Prudoe Bay. What's the yearly average temp, 20 deg.?

    Comes down to drivetrain!
If you run a hopped up Flathead, with 3x2 and and a stock trans. I would call it: a damn nice Trad rod. Where I dislikes the wheels, and likes the car.

If features a SBC 355/350, with a th350 and 354 rear gears, I would fell no love or no hate towards it. But street rod might come to mind, but some guys use it in a harsh way, that is uncalled for in this case.

Welcome to the HAMB! Around here we'd call that a very nice Coupe that somehow escaped becoming a Stock Car in the late 1940's - 1970's. Bob

What's important is what YOU call it Matt!
...and I guess that depends on how it's behaving!;)

Looks like a street rod at this stage...... More details and better pics might get it an upgrade to hot rod !

You don't want THAT car - I'll take it off your hands - it will be nice and warm in my garage.
Hey don't worry about it - drive it like you stoled it - very sweet looking ride.

Not a single question on tire size, or it would look better with/as etc.

Not even a patiently waiting for pictures?
Are you even who you claim to be? Lol

At least it's a coupe, I believe you know about how it feels to own one
