  2. A buddy of mine wanted a cheap hot rod, and its further along now than in the pic, but we started with just a Chevy truck cowl in July to build him one.

  5. Those are different rear fenders than the ones you showed earlier. You now have some mid-20s Dodge Brothers rear fenders.

Wow- all you need now is to find a motor! Orphaned parts should ALWAYS be brought home- they need to feel wanted too ( and you don't have to lie to the old lady about what they cost).Nice score.

cool find, that thing has a nice dash.
The doors look like mid to late 20s chrysler 4 door, id say between 1926 and 1928

  11. Yes, I would say 1928 Chrysler doors with the reveal around the windows..

My choices for the doors judging by the location of the center hinge are 1928 Dodge Four Door or 1928 Chyrsler Tudor. Thanks for the replies.

    Found some more rusty tin and relics today.. Brought the A doors home thinking about the rear section also. Anyone need parts and pieces. 20141228_113540 (1).jpg 20141228_114017 (1).jpg 20141228_114709 (1).jpg 20141228_120108 (1).jpg 20141228_122003.jpg 20141228_122350 (1).jpg 20141228_133011 (1).jpg 20141228_125236.jpg 20141228_122031 (1).jpg 20141228_121957 (1).jpg

Help!!!! I had this cool old Chevy truck out on my grandpa's old family farm, and someone stole it! No one has done anything with the farm since the Dust Bowl years of the late 1930s, so I figured the truck was safe there. After 20 years of waiting and anticipating, I finally had a way to go pick it up, and when I get there, its gone! I can follow the marks on the ground where they dragged it across the field then loaded it onto their truck. If you see or hear anything about it, please help me put these thieving bums behind bars!

Of course, the OP had the property owner's permission to remove the truck from his property, right? Where do you guys get off thinking that since you found old tin laying around, its free to take? Just because its in a field, in the woods, or along the river, doesn't mean its free for all, its on someones land, and removing it without the landowners permission is stealing. Gene

Yep...got tin in my cow pasture too, but anybody that thinks they're taking it home better be wearing a flack jacket. Ever check to see who owned the property?

I didn`t add this post to condone trespassing or thievery. It was a simple post for identification of some old rusty tin abandoned at a location that I do have permission to be on and retrieve these items from.
