Should pretty much just bolt up. My guess would be the forward position of the rearmost shit location should do the trick, but at worst you have to a mid shift kit. I just did a mid shift for a client a couple of month ago and it took all of 1 hour to install. 'Bout all you can do is put it up there and see. I'll tell you what though, you'll find it's the best money you have ever spent!

If its just a cruzer id keep the 3speed column shift with an overdrive. Same end result as the tremac but way more old school cool, and less gears to mess with.

Oh that sounds more understandable and it shouldn't upset the old school looks. Cool.

There are 4 different shifter positions possible.
Looks like 2nd from the back matches GM transmissions.
Looks a little wider and flatter across the top, so the trans hump may need massaging.

All I can say is do it! I agree the forward rear position should be about right they are a bit broader and bulkier than the 4 speed but you will LOVE it. I'll likely never use a Muncie again!

The GM TKO600 I used, used all readily available pilot and release bearings, pressure plate and disk for GM stuff. I went to a local Clutch & Brake wholesaler and they had everything in stock. I frikking love this transmission too. I got the close ratio OD and am running a 3.50 gear. I cant say for sure on yours but I imagine the tunnel will need to be enlarged slightly width wise. Mine is in a '40 coupe and it almost fit with no mods to the floor.
