Outstanding work, great color. Voted by me, most favorite French Hot Rod. Come to think of it, I have one of your French Flatheads in my Ute What are the laws you have to deal with in France to modify a car like that?
Those are stock headlight made by Marchal, the Bug one are different even if they look alike. Herve, superbe choix de couleur.
I've already driven over 2000 kms with the first version with the 4-cylinder, it takes may change the brake rods and mounting system.
Figured you'd clocked up a few miles - I was just wondering whether body roll would affect the actuation although you now have the opposite of the arrangement on a Model A I guess.
Austin Healey seats! Loved 'em when I built my first RPU in 1960, and still do. Very nice upholstery work.
Herve, I can't believe you when you say you are in France, you belong in the USA. with that good looking ride. Congrats on a job well done. Larry
I have a couple of sets of those headlamps. Stainless acorn bowls with flat lenses. The stock '32 glass fits.
Nice work Herve. Love the stance and chop on this thing, the whole look realy works. I am stoked to see the Austin seats. I was contemplating using a set of those in my 30 Tudor after the chop is done. They look great.
Herve...A first class hot rod there and here... Beautiful construction, although at first I couldn't believe you were going to chop such a perfect restoration! ...Then I spotted the missing tooth in the grille. That was excuse enough.
first laps ... a few problems but nothing serious and finally the first photos in the French sun Now the car is at a friend's for upholstery and then we can also mount the hood
Herv's, That front shot is KILLER DUDE...I love it and wish I could see it in person. I spent a lot of time (2.5 years) stationed in Villafrance SurMer back in the 60's and never seen a single hot rod the whole time I was there. Way to go guy........I like it...... Dennis
