I have always like that top, gives the car a bad ass attitude, and I like the look of the aprons, It looks like some kid unbolted the fenders at El Mirage in the 40's and never put them back on.

I two dig the hell out of the side aprons! Might be the signature piece to your new really cool car. Just don't change it, drive it , and love it.

Man, thanks again for all the compliments! We were having a garage and swim day so snapped a bunch of pics. I just added a cool set of original trim rings to the Kelsey's too...

Underneath. He has a cool original horn mounted low on the drivers side frame rail that isn't hooked up yet but was a great idea. Another neat feature is the '37 steering wheel with fully functional light switch. High, low and even parking lights!

So ran into an old friend this weekend and ended up taking this home. A nice little 59AB. Coolest part is that it's stock bore! He freshened it up with all new gaskets and rebuilt distributor. We hung out watching it run on the stand for an hour. It never got above 170 degrees and didn't leave a single drop of anything on the floor. I liked it so much it followed me home:) Years ago he sold our club the engine currently in my roadster and he reminded me of an important fact that we all forgot, it's got a 4" Merc crank!!

Wow! This car is so perfect in every way. The aprons look so good, and all the other details on this car are just so right. Thanks for sharing all the detailed pics.
I have a question about the rear, looking at the pics it does not appear to have had the rear of the frame kicked up, what are the rear leafs and have they been modified to get the rear hieght that low?

Thanks man! The rear is stock with execption of the famous model T spring that everyone uses to get the rear of a Model A down.

This is absolutely amazing!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!! I'm collecting parts for this very thing as we speak. I love the aprons and the 30-31 Grille shell is perfect and unique. I would love to see this in person someday. Excellent score!!!!!
