I have always been a bit of a gear head, taking the riding mower apart at age 9 to see how it worked. I grew up in a Harley Davidson Dealership, around bikers and the like. My dad really should get the credit for energizing my taste for old steel. He built a '27 T Speedster with an overhead Riley and counterbalanced crank, ...... He also had a '66 Stingray Coupe that he would take us to school in. What a treat! Recently my cousin has sparked the old traditional rod and custom flame in me. Now I own 3 Model A's, two Shoeboxes, and a pile of vintage rusty steel parts. I Love it!
