Here are a couple more pictures. The blue "Foleys Fooler" panel is Lucky Foley, who ended up buying the 36 coupe. The next picture with the corvette, which was another Meadville car, owned by Pop Smith, who operated a neighborhood grocery store in Meadville the vette was powered by an injected nailhead buick, later with a Latham supercharger. After the coupe and the corvette were sold they shared the same garage for several years. The corvette was then powered by a small block chevy and campaigned vigorously on Ohio and pennsylvania drag strips for a couple of years and then it was put out to pasture(literally) where it deteriorated badly.

I remember it was in 1971, just started racing. I was in the long line of cars waiting to pay at the little shack they used to use at Lancaster raceway. My buddy was bringing in my car for me "REDHOT" and I started walking down the road to the gate and Jim Oddy pulled up next to me and said "hey you want a ride in?" Well I was a big shot the whole day. All the guys said Wow, you know him that well? Ha,Ha.

Just started reading Don Montgomery's Supercharged Gas Coupes. Might take a look at getting that one once I hear some reviews to see if it's any good.

What was the name of that beautiful blue color that was used on the car.

I always thought the color was perfect for that car.
