I dont care for sedans much at all, but Id say they would be much better suited for a mild hot rod than a taildragger. A taildragger should be a very fluid downward flow from front to back, and a 41-48 sedan will just never lend itself to create that flow.

I have looked over the web for every custom 41-48 ford out there. I have not ever seen a sedan with the rear lower than the front. Photoshop one, you will see how silly it will look.... I have seen customized ones, but they are level, or ever so only slightly lower in the rear, but true taildragger stance? Never seen it done.

  6. I would much rather a coupe but only seem to find sedans affordable.I really like yours by the way.

Here's my '46.... its kinda got the back end lower..

Mainly due to all the junk I have stored in it

I agree with Chad, not a good "taildragger"
basically stock with reversed spring eyes is what looks good to me...and the correct tires make a difference too with the body being so HUGE..
this has 6.00x16's on it now... thats the bare minimum in my opinion... 6.50's would look nice?

No, she was a real turd to begin with. We have the original aftermarket Buick grill for it like the Fordor pic that Rikster put up. Skirts and visor are going on it also.

Sometime I just don't get it, a coupe has more flow lines.
Well an old bubble back looks good 2. Just because a
coupe made the Magazine's, Ole every day Joe Cool had what
    he could afford.
100# sack of sand in the back, fender skirts, a set of pipes, Cadillac hub caps
up front, with port-a-walls, brush painted red wheels, a spinner on the steering wheel, a set of blue dots, and Moma's home made seat covers. Not no Mexican blanket. L man it might have took Ole Joe Cool 6 months to a year to do it all on his pay.
