I had a moment of thoughts and was going to get the flatty in her running before pulling apart if it turns... or could drop it and drive it as is for a while....

Keep the fenders, and skip the S-10 frame.

Nothing should be fenderless (AND I MEAN NOTHING) after 1934. Keep the original frame as well.

the infamous s-10 frame, the crescent wrench of frames

    one size fits all

  14. Wow, wish someone would remove the S-10 frame from the equation. Hello, start over agian!

As far as fenders or fenderless, depends on the car, application and style of fender! Each to his own boys and girls, it's like the 32 flavors, they are there for a reason.

Fenderless trucks after 34 are Rat Rods. Keep the fenders.

I agree with Jeffrey James. I also think the only good thing from an S-10 is a T5 transmission.

  17. You're right about that Evil, My question to the OP is are you going to build a R-R? I hope not, that truck needs fenders period.

Only reason s10 was considered is cause I have a frame laying here and other reason is that this is going to be daily driven and getting parts down here in texas is somewhat a pain for more rare trucks like this and my dodge... Im always a week out if someone even has a part... thats the only reason the s-10 was even considered.... guess other option is to throw a M2kit under the front huh?

Two options you should eliminate are the S10 frame and going fenderless.

I really want her low is my main concern but still be able to tow trailers to get other vehicles etc...

If you think your truck has "patina" instead of surface rust that needs to be fixed, this very likely IS the wrong forum. If you had made yourself familiar with the zeitgeist and thrust of this website, you'd not have asked either of the two questions you did posit, nor would have have been proud to mention your.....'patina'.
Find out what a hot rod is and find out what a custom is - in the vernacular of this forum.

and yes, posit IS a word and has been applied appropriately in that comment.
