Hopefully this thread will be cool for Halloween......show what pumpkins you have made. This we made today for Ladyshifter's contest at work.
Carved this one up yesterday. Oh yeah, and made a little 10 foot tall stand for it too. It's for the kids, ya know... Cheers, Art.
Okay, Skip ... did your wife's pumpkin win? You know, every year, for many years, I have carved Jack-o-Lanterns. This is the first Halloween in probably 40 years where I didn't carve one. Due to the fact that my daughter turned sixteen and didn't participate in any festivities, and my son has been grown for a good many years now, plus, we get no trick-or-treaters where we are now, I didn't see the need for carving a pumpkin. Kinda sad ...
The Moon pumkins are awsome! I carved mine this year in a simple pattern but took the "guts" and had them coming out it's mouth.... The pukin' punkin'! great fun for the first hour or so before the girlfriend though it was tasteless and "cleaned up". The best part was driving around all day occasionally looking in the rear view mirror trying to remember what my face looked like last time I threw up... I must not be drinking enough any more! Sorry, I can't get my pictures to load, I knew I should have had kids!
my son would love that rat fink, I'm going to show it to him. He just did this one of his moms corvette:
I got alot of compliments on my Rat Fink pumpkin. I will have to start thinking up ideas for next year.
