i got the oil[10wt nd] for my 50 desoto fluid drive.the transmission part was easy [2 plugs]. when you fill the fluid drive converter do you turn it with a bar or do you bump the starter to move it in position to remove the plug and into position to drain it.the service books i got tell me nothing about this part. thanks

All I could get from my manuals, is "rotate the unit,to access the fill plugs" I'm assuming,a bar would be more presise,as for accuracy. Sparky

thanks ,the manuals have very little about this.i figure since the transmission and fluid drive coupling oil have not been changed in 54 years it was time.
