Is that a recent pic of your black truck?

I think I am more excited about this next truck project more than the others because I am looking at this as a 365 day a year driver , and if I fancy something that I want to change , BAM!!! , it is going to get it. I am leaning towards it be a long term keeper (years) and I have never had the prospective thought process before . It just feels internally weird this time. Maybe looking to settle back and just enjoy it.

Not a mechanic's shop truck but my dad's panel for his carpet laying business that he started in the late 1960s. He bought a 1955 Ford panel truck from a local farmer. He fixed it up, added mag wheels and painted it orange and had it lettered.

Those panels definitely have their advantages. Neat truck.

I thought about a pick up and depending on the vehicle style , building a bed cap with rounded curves on top and a somewhat side design complimenting the front fenders or rear bed fenders.

I had a 62 Dodge truck in my senior year of high school. I bought it for $200 sold the slant 6 for $100 and put a Pontiac 400 motor in it with the help of my uncle. the thing was fast. when I bought it the left front fender was damaged, I fixed it and got damaged on that corner 3 more times before I sent the truck down the road. I have been looking for another for the last few years but doesn't seem to be a lot of these around here.

Your on the wrong side of the country. On the west coast every once in awhile you get a spurt or two of a few Dodges on CL.

Built this one and ended up selling it, wish I had it back.
