Almost finished with my new addition, can't wait to get moved in.

 

O.K. Now I am envious! What more can a man ask for? OUTSTANDING!

We moved to the country in Oct so now I have 4 acres and a 40w x 50d garage attached to my house, along with a 14x20 shed..
Now just have to fill it with toys.
I have a huge reznor, which is cool, because we also have a gas well to feed it lol

 

This is mine's current state of disaster!

A few pics say more than a thousand words...
I have my workshop in an old shed I fixed up , so I can work on 2 cars at a time. The ceiling is not high enough for a lift, but that´s ok for me. It´s pretty crammed in there but I love that place. I don´t need a lift cause I´m used to work lying under a car, hahahaha
I sold my 34 Plymouth and my 61 Buick to build a 36´x 44´foot garage right next to the house I´m refurbishing. It should hold 6 fullsize cars, hope that´s enough for ever
My dad allowed me to park my cars in his garage until mine is finished. He owns the 31 Sport Coupe, looks stock, but has a B engine.

I took the 3' extensions off each end it is 20' now
my other one was a euro 9000lb that was to short for a long P/U
and motor home will go 5.8' to center of wheel before foof

It's ugly, but it's all mine! I'm beginning to wish it wasn't in snow country!

 

I really like when the garage is almost as big as the house.

 

Really clean set-up. What is that slotted board you have in the first pic?

 

Looking at all these garages makes me very impatient. I've told myself that i'm not allowed to start any projects before its done...just a foundation right now...

 

Sweet set up well organized! My shop will never be that clean! GARAGE ENVY!

 

The slotted board is called "slatboard". Lowe's carries it, but it isn't cheap. Comes in 4x8 sheets, and there are a ton of brackets available for hanging stuff on it. I like it because I don't have to make holes to put up shelves, and I can move and rearrange them continually.
