I am working on a side project and I'm looking for peoples finished cars, I'm looking for specific cars, so post your pictures of your finished cars. There are plenty of projects here for me to pick from, but I can't find a picture thread of finished cars.

    Thanks in advance

  2. You can't find finished cars? o_O

Try the 'Classy Customs' thread, it's full of them. There are others. You might also search Paso Robles and Santa Maria.

It's an app for iPhone and android, each week there will be a profile of a custom car.....actual custom car not rat rods deemed custom......that will be available for worldwide download. Something to keep me busy on my days off working on, and I just like customs.

  8. Ah, so you are looking for material for your app. Sounds like publishing.

  9. Could be a cool thing.
How much are you paying for the use of Hambers vehicles?
Maybe you would have been better to start with more details, so this dosent come across like spam.

If this is a good thing, maybe you could do one for Hot Rods.

It kind of sounds like you want us to do your work for you. You weren't up front about what you are doing, so you can get something for free. And you say you are looking for specific cars, but give no details of that either. There are plenty of photos out there if you do a simple search, and you should be asking owners permission. Do your own leg work.

  16. ................So. I guess the question that begs to be answered.........will you be getting paid for each download of your app?

  17. I'm sure he asked Ryan's permission first........ Yeah..... Sure sounds like it.

No it is to be a free download of an app for the participants, the owners of the cars.

And yes, there would eventually be one for hotrods, but only after I get this one off the ground and get it rolling.

And I am asking permission from the owners, I'm looking for cars to put in, as has been said before on this forum, there are cars built traditionally and ones that are not.

And no I was not for something for free, I was asking for pictures to be posted so I could message the owners on here and ask them myself, doing my own leg work, further more that's why I didn't post I'm making an app on the wide open board so it could not be construed as spam.

If Ryan wants to delete it he can.

So if we want to delete it feel free.

  22. Your still here, so it must be OK.
Good luck with your app, I'll keep an eye out for it.
Moriarity has thrown up some pics, and that's a great start.

    Moriarity,
I remember this jewel from the "green pages" magazine days.
This was a state of the art custom, in customizing's hey day, and one of the most memorable "Semi-Customs" ever!
I also recall that the article stressed the owner installed, advanced electronics.

Does it still have that beautiful nail head power plant?

Very cool. Especially considering it was done in 1961!
