Just read some posts about people having their car on the cover of a hot rod type magazine! That impresses me and I would think others.
So how about posting a pic of the cover of the magazine with your car, here for others to see? Let’s see how many there are!

I would also like to see who all have had their car featured inside of a magazine!

I had my T modified on the cover of rod and custom in 2007. I’ll dig it out and post a picture tonight after work.

There is a very indepth article on my coupe in the July 1985 issue of RODACTION mag. pg 26 but was not on the cover. Does that count? The article was by Stephen K. Anderson who works for Honest Charley and I have met. This posting picture thing is still a mystery to me. Oh well............

I can't post pics because my car is OT (1967), but it was on the front cover of Cars and Car Conversions Magazine (Triple C) in England in 1969 and 1972. It was also in over 30 issues of the same magazine from 1967-72, before being given away by the magazine in '72. There is even a small paper back about the building and racing (1967-69) of it. It's a 67 Mini, kin to the Morris Minor, and I have owned it for 35 years. In '93 and '94, I raced it on nearly every British Track and once at the Belgian Grand Prix Circuit.

Sorry about being OT, but I'm proud of its history. The closest my HAMB friendly cars come to this are pictures in newspapers. Ron

  5. I have never had a car on the cover of a magazine, I have been privileged to have my Deuce pickup on the cover of Coker tire catalog.

And EMS auto sheet metal used Brenda's wagon on their catalog cover.

My '57 had a couple of outstanding features, but grabbing the cover was a particular honor.

It was also a very fun shoot that day with Trent Sherrill, Crissy Henderson, and a few buddies.

Tim Strange was recently discussing the honor that it is to get your car featured, or even simply mentioned, in print magazine. I agree with him, and I still get excited when the mail comes and it's a hot rod magazine (and not more bills lol). But unfortunately we've lost some good magazines recently. I got to thinking about some of the dumb stuff I blow my money on and how I should put my money where my mouth is, and went and subscribed to a few different magazines I enjoy. I'd encourage everyone here to do the same.

Got my madness ‘Agent Thor’ on the cover of Street Machine magazine.
Throughout the whole photo shoot I just smiled like a little kid!

Also got it on the cover of a way OT German car magazine.

  15. I don't expect this counts, but when I was a kid I heard there was a picture of my car featured on the bulletin board at the police station. That's probably as close as I'll ever get. :)

Not the biggest image but I’ll take it.

There's a shot of my Comet (about the size of a postage stamp) at the first Eagle Field meet, in an old issue of 'Traditional Rod & Kulture'. They spelled CRAGAR wrong in the caption.

  21. My Merc was on the cover of a Custom Paint magazine. I'll have to take a pic and post it. Also, my Coupe was on the cover of Old School Rodz, when Conrad owned it.

It’s been a while since this cover. My avatar is the same car as it looks today. It has been with me 52 years.

My 55 chevy and I made the front cover of the Goodguys Gazette swimsuit edition in 94 at the Des Moines show along with a few other guys. Wife volunteered me for the photo shoot. There must have been 2-3 dozen women gathered around hollering and whistling at us. Then to make things worse my wife ordered a dozen copies and gave them to some of my friends. Everybody got a good laugh out of it. I think I have a copy somewhere I'll look for it .
