A one car, two car garage. ( with an extra 6")
That's the 2 car garage in the background. It was "clean-up the garage" weekend. It took two days. Still kinda a mess but I know where most of the stuff is
As a Ford guy, all I can say is "You win"..
I was in my house in Connecticut for about 30 years. At about the 20 year mark I decided I needed a bigger garage. The town had a floor area ratio formula. Based on my lot size, I could only add a 19x21 garage. But height wise I could go to about 35 ft.
I did my own drawings, got approvals and built a structure that matched my English Tudor house, looking as though it was also built in 1929.
I had a 12 ft ceiling on the first level, allowing me to put in a lift, I had a hatch door on the second floor. I would clamp a piece of 3/4 ply to the lift and use the second floor for parts storage.
It was a great space. No more. Divorced........Oh well. Life goes on.

When we bought the house it said oversize 1 car garage. It's 18 wide by 24 deep. This is a huge upgrade compared to the 10' wide 19' deep garage I had a Colorado. My two cars will squeeze in there but most of the time I just keep the '29 in it.

picture taken from a drone?.
From the stairway.
Jim, is your garage a metal one?
Not mine however I know the owner. 2 x outside and another work in progress, all Chevies
My front attached 20x20 for my DD and 35, the floor has recently been epoxied, what a difference it makes.
This where all the real work gets done on my 46 down the back in my detached 20x20
Some may recognise the car on the left (Hotrodladycruiser - Denise). Her car along with a spare 47 Olds convertible.
This is that other car now and down under in the possession of a friend, a few hours from me. It's still a work in progress and nearly there?
2 stalls for me too
Barely a two-car garage in the basement, but we built the 62 in there...
My two car garage needs to be a four car garage.
Photo with two cars is my first house after my move.
Second picture is the new pole buildings at my new house. Finally getting enough space to do something.
This year I've been trying to fix that mess.
I’ve been busy
Nice to see a stock headlight bar for a change. JW
Would love more room.
Fortunate to have the space at the house...
...here's a rare photo of my shop ...with no car in it,...it's 20 wide by 26 deep, the back half of my garage,...this pic was just after I sorted and cleaned it up, which is not very often.
Hey Rusty 1 Acme Garage looks Great to me!
The shop on the east end of our store building is a 30 x30 red iron metal with two doors. Ive got too much stuff in there. Welders compressors , drill press . Hyd press 4 rollaway boxes of tools. two tire machines. My daughter in laws 64 MG convertible is in one corner and a farmall utility 300 tractor in the other. However I have a recliner, a radio and frige with beverages in there. So its all good. I do most of my wrenching on vehicles outside under the canopy.
