    this is what I've come up so far, added length to the kick after I looked at what was posted earlier. Probably not to legible. 20170307_194009.jpg
     
  3. That's a really good start, copy it and
    Add the wheels, axles room for suspension travel, spring mounts, ride height rake, engine and Trans height mindful of pan ground clearance and Trans tunnel encroachment. That's all your essentials. The rest is good to have an idea on but it's pretty much fudgable on the fly.

    When planning your chassis and rear suspension layout keep some thought as to what you might want for an exhaust system. Cross member design and placement can really limit the muffler and pipe run on a T.

  5. That's why 90+% have external exhaust
    The Brake line, fuel line and a drive shaft take up all the room there is ! :eek:

    Yes and I'd bet the other 10% weren't built on the 50 year old formula.
    Not that I have anything against that tradition but I like to see a different take on the old standby T once in a while.
