Going to get a driveshaft made for my 48 Pontiac. The guy priced the shaft with and without a new yoke. I can get a yoke out of a Turbo 350 from a friend. Will a 350 yoke work on a 700R? If so it will save me $65.00.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Just make sure you get the right one, he's probably planning on using one with the C clip grooves in it, not one that had the ujoint held in with plastic

  6. As a driveshaft builder I would rather build the driveshaft from front to rear with the same u-joint size to help the end user. This subject hasn't been stated. I can build a driveshaft with parts off the shelf in four u-joints sizes and variable in this subject including stone stock and put together stuff like we do.
