My first Viva. Had a good time. I'm not a photographer, so my pics suck.

all in all it was a fun weekend. drove 7 hours each way in the Buick, and that was by far the best part.

Your pics are sharp and in focus....the lighting is fine......no evidence of *camera shake*....you uploaded them from your camera to your computer and then to a 3rd party photo host.......AND you posted them here in the most enjoyable way to view them......

I think you *ARE* a photographer and your pics do not suck......thanks for posting them!

Thanks for the kind words everyone.
my crispy left arm gives me some pride, since that was its first trip out of Phoenix.

  11. I see that TIGER MARK, DIAMOND 49 and 1LOWTRK actually did make it out from good old Burbank, Il. they are in the back ground of picture #9. White Chevy p-u with checkered firewall and powder blue 58 Ford with the hood up. Hope they have a safe trip home. Looks like a cool show, maybe next year. Mitch.

Nice pics. Kind of the way you'd see them, not posed for the art of photo. I like that, don't get me wrong, but I also like the straight forward ones!

Thanks for sharing. What is the last light colored car in post #1? I like it but don't know what it is!

thanks again for the kind words. I hustled through the crowds to take those pics at the last minute with my 5 year old digi camera. Im just not artistic with the pics like most people. As for not taking pictures of the crap that was there, I can honestly say I barely noticed them, since I dont look. I heard and saw, from a distance, the desiel thing, the cello grill thing, and the overly chopped A sedan with the bamboo roof, but never even got close enough to them. I figured that rats are like annoying little kids, if you ignore them, they go away. And props to the Chads (SO-AZ on here) from Tucson for hookin up the pics of my Buick rollin.
    Look at the hubcap.

THANK YOU for getting a picture of the top of the Red & Black Cadillac with the INSANE lace paint job. I passed her several times on the way into Vegas and kept going back to check it out....

  26. Theopwk,

Dude, you're gonna make me blush ! Thanks for the kind words and the great show shots. The Club cruise out form Colorado was a great part of the trip for us too. Had one car break down about 4 hours from home on the way back, one out of that many is not bad.

You should'a come by and introduced yourself. We could have went out in the Deuce when things broke up. I took Chuck from the Emperors out for a spin, when we came back, Alex said he could hear us doing a burnout over on Averille about three blocks down the street.

    Thanks again, Johnnie.
