    Shows my age.
Pintos had not been thought of when I took my test.
The kool part of the story, it was a brand new 57.
Belonged to a cousin and his wife.
She was a cheerleader when they married.
She was a pretty blond and I think the driver's examiner was looking at her instead of my driving.
That is my story, and I'm stickin to it!

Hey Mick, I took my driver's test in a stick shift '49 Merc - Dad's, but my Mom taught me how to drive it cuz Dad said he'd never let me get a license cuz he knew I'd kill myself in a car...came close a few times, but I'm still playing with 'em...!!!

That would have been kool taking a test in a '49 Merc. My Pinto was a stick shift.
Man, I'm almost as kool as you. Ha, ha,... I need to find a Nerdforum so I can tell
    my stories...LOL!

    Happy Trails, Mick

I got to take mine in a pretty hot 66 Buick Electra 225 that belonged to one of my dad's mechanics since our 59 Olds Super 88 might have scared the driver test guys. I wish I had that one now.

Also - thanks everyone for your patience. Each one of these takes quite a bit of time to do correctly, some more than others. I am glad you are enjoying them.

Thanks guthrie. I was pretty sure it was, but it was one of those things that just happened while I was shooting the car by itself. I wish I had had the presence of mind to put my flash on. It would have turned out even better.

These renderings of photos look like that artist....Ken...Kent Bash? Is that it? Man I can't believe some of these! I've seen (and touched - don't tell) the green flamed '54 Olds! What a destroyer!

Yep, that's the one. I thought it was just me. haha
I think it's 'cause, normally, in a photograph or rendering, there's a focal point, everything ahead and beyond loses focus. This photography and Bash's work keep most everything sharp.

Great pix Dan ! Didn't get to meet-up with you in Salina, but hope your camera has recovered from the 113 degree heat melt-down !:)

Thanks Jonnie. I think my brain was more melted down than the camera. The weather really does test people and of course the cars.
