This station was in the same location from 1916 until 1940. He advertised "Full Service" too and as you can see he didn't need a Pit either.

Garages in Red Hook NY just north of Rhinebeck. The Taconic State pky. ended at Rte. 199 then and Red Hook was the stopping point on the way to Albany and points north on Rte. 9.

Found this old photo of my aunt, has to be a 50's or early 60's photo. Wish they would have got the whole station in the pic!

I have a photo, that was taken in 1920 of a gas station aka known as a Filling Station), in Phillips, Wisconsin. Its Standard Oil Company, and there are 2 gas pumps, which are of the Visable Pump style, being they have the glass cylinder on each one. This was when u had to pump the gas up into the cylinder via a pump handle. The glass was marked with numbers, from the bottom of the glass to the top of the glass, 1 Gallon, 2 Gallon, 3 Gallon, and so on. U would pump the gas up to how ever many gallons u wanted, then transfer the gas into ur tank. The photo also shows the front of the gas station as well. It is framed and is really neat. I may be interested in selling this photo if anybody is interested in it. I also have a glass ash tray, from Standard Oil Company, and it has a Red Crown Globe on it and the name of the gas station. I would consider selling this along with the photo. If anybody has a interest in these 2 items, pm me. Thank u.

Daskolos Chevron in Albuquerque around 1957. Hang out for a lot of the local hot rodders then.

My shop around 1992. Pumps were gone but it's the same building. I always felt "if only these walls could talk!"

My turn. I shot this restored Texaco station in 2006; only thing is I'm not sure exactly where. Best I can tell is it's south of Chattanooga in the NW tip of Georgia or maybe the NE tip of Alabama:

This little Texaco station in Paducah, KY has been restored as an office:

And this one (same town) hasn't been:

I used to pass by this house in Baldwin Park, CA a lot and I think it must have been a gas station at some point:

And finally Ronnie's Automotive Service, the old station at 2012 N. Lake Ave. in Altadena, CA as it looked in 1983:

Then it was spruced up at some point. The pumps were painted up and given new Gilmore markings, which were changed when the 1997 remake of The Love Bug was filmed there:

And as of a year or so ago, the pumps were gone and it was up for sale :(:

Heres the info. Chrisman and Sons Garage in Compton Ca. corner of Willowbrook and El Segundo Blvd Jack ran the station on the corner any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Almost forgot this one in Everett, WA:

That P-40 was there between 1948 and 1968, when it was taken down and eventually restored. It's still being flown today.

  26. Czech Village, Cedar Rapids. Owner has restored this 1930s (?) Station but has not moved in.
