A few years a go I was working on a VW microbus, When we went to push it back into the shop for the night we found bee's had made a hive in it, the owner insisted I put it in the shop for the night then he decided if someone comes to steal or mess with it they are going to be in for a big surprise.

I pulled a nest out of a client's attic in BC that filled 6 garbage bags. Amazing structures inside. Being allergic now, I would have to really want a car bad to attempt one of those.

I know one Bald Faced Hornet in the gauntlet of a leather motorcycle glove can cause a lot of misery in a BIG hurry, I don't want to even think about what the number in that old Chevy sedan could do. And it DOES look like something from ALIENS...

I have uncovered some major nests over 4' diameter, but never seen anything like this...

A 12ga shotgun with the barrel full of gasoline from about 2 ft away, is the best cure for a hornets nest. Seen it done one time, the old guy didn't even run when he fired. As for me, I was some distance away.
