Art & Inspiration ##yee Haa!! Friday Art Show!**

I'm in the process of moving, but had to shoot out to the local coffee place to check out the show this week... and DAMN! Everyone, OUTSTANDING AGAIN!!
Mr. Norwell, you are my hero... Mr. Allison, your work is just insanely beautiful... Jigger, glad to see you're surviving the trip (and I'll call soon as I get some crap unpacked)... stomper, great to see you post this week, and it looks GREAT!!
I'm gonna re-hash some stuff ('cuz it's all I have access to on the laptop... and I wanna play too this week!)
GREAT show again...

 

Wow super killer stuff again as usual. CAb , Norwell, widewhitewalls , lobrow etc, all---It seems to me that all those involved in this segment of the car lifestyle and traditional types of rods/kustoms are artistic in one way or another.
I just finished this one for a customer in NYC, it's called Dragon Lady and is based off a b-29 that flew in the 444th Bomb Group.
The Dragon Lady image and name was much used throughout all theaters of operation and was based off Of The "Terry and the Pirates comic drawn by Milt Caniff.
This is my take on the image and the nose art from another famous bomb group in the pacific.









Hope you guys dig ---it's just as much fun painting them.

Working on another Flying Tigers jacket right now as this seems to be a popular jacket as well because of their history.
Might have some pics up by tonight on that as well.

Are we lucky or what?

To have such talented group of artists to submit their work each week. I was on the HAMB for a year before I every veiwed one of these threads.

Now I cant wait for Friday (Or wednesday, if it suits ya ) to see what you guys have cooked up!

Rome WOW, I have to check your picture trail more often. I made a piece of art this morning but it is on its way to the waste water treatment plant... we will call it my brown period.
