I'de like to consider myself a founding member. When I was a kid I thought Don was the coolest, he wouldn't give a "dumb kid" the time of day though. As an adult I've heard way to much crap that has come out of his mouth and no longer have even a little bit of respect for him or anything I've seen him do for that matter. I guess its a case of what goes around, comes around. A lot of the guys in my age group have the same opinion, and the guys younger dont remember when Don was "somebody".

Prolly too new for the majority of you guys...but it IS art...and I don't post that much here...

Concept I did for Strictly Street Rods here in Denver: 2004 T-Bird with '57 'Bird front and rear fenders...the car is built, currently in Black shiny paint and running a Roush V8...

  12. Allison,
Love your work. I've seen your notebook sketches and what-not, Awesome; we should all post old "kid" drawings we've kept around some time---show how far we've come.

Thanks again to the artist formerly known as Brush for gettin' it started!!!

Until I find a scanner, here's a few previous posts from a secret remote location in Burbank SoCal, where, yes,... I have NO wheels!

That one with the ghoul in the graveyard is wicked. It would make a cool t-shirt. I graduated from Vaca High back in the day, so that one just trips me out.

To some this may not seem art related but this was a art project for me. I always liked the look of the Thickstun
aircleaner but my engine was a SBC (yeah I know). So with a 4 barrel whatwas I to do so I thought well hey I will make my own air cleaner. Through a few prototypes I finally came up with this. This is the final master mold done by hand, not on some computer operated machine. Lots of sore fingertips worth of sanding.
This is the top and bottom together.

This is a view of the underside.

I sent the masters out to a foundry in Washington state and within a short time they came back as nice fresh aluminum.
This is how it looks at the moment. I plan on venting through the bottom and closing up the clamshell. I still need to polish the bottom half of it.

I used to do Model T's when I was in elementary school. Side views of early cars are fun and easy to do. That particular project reminds me of a train my Dad did for me in my bedroom when I was little.

O.K. I caught Hell for a photoshop I did on Dave Shuten's New BubbleTop AstroSLed. A lot of "Don't like it? Do one yourself!" "Go eat a dick" etc. etc...
So I did a couple of quick sketches. Who knows maybe I'll do 'em for real.:D :D Yeah right.-stick

Allison this is Awesome is good to know there are other folks out there that can appreciate different automoblies and ideas. Just as long as you don't mis traditional rodding with modern day customizing right? Ha ha. Anyway I love the concept. I like the Element as well.

This is how much I do...

I posted these pics a little over a month ago, but I will put them up again, the first is a "Norwell" rendering, the second is HAMBer Kritz's version, tattooed on my arm.
