Just got home from a long drive with this very decent 32 3 window, zero rust, been sitting in a garage untouched since 1962. Purchased by a gentleman in high school in 1960, he did some work but lost interest. When I first heard about it I thought it was another story but it turned out to be true. Car came from central Idaho, already has juice brakes, filled shell and the chassis looks to have been painted while the body was off. Running a 21 stud and 39 trans, I have a built later flathead, Thikstun etc that I may drop in. It came with some extra hoods, dashes and other stuff, yeeha!

All I ever found were like '39 Chevy 4 door humpback sedans....I must have been looking in the wrong spots...

That is a damn fine old Ford. Nice score. -Abone.

I'm thinking a full fendered car with bumpers, on the fence whether to run a hood or not. Steel Wheels or maybe a set of Ken's Equipment wheels that I have sitting here, circa 62. Most likely flathead. The body has a lot of original paint and even some pin striping still left, hate to screw with that. Needs to go down in front. This is my first 32 so I'm still learning. I want to be sure to respect the car.

I'm the asshole here, so I will ask what everyone else won't...

What's the complete story on this...

How did you find out about it...

How much did you pay for it...

When are you going to sell it to me?

All fields above must be filled in for you to be accepted into the Hamb Deuce Club. :p

1 Not much more to the story, came from Burley ID, I think it was there all it's life. The guy I got it from lives out of state and had it stored at his brothers place. He doesn't remember too much about what had been done.

2 found it on the interwebs

3 more than I wanted to but less than it's worth

4 sounds like you already have one

5 sounds pretty exclusive but I think I paid the dues ;)

Haha. :D:D Where do I begin with describing the immeasurable amount of envy I have towards you for finding such a mint 3W deuce?

The question is not that, however. The question is, is it possible to put my envy into words?

    I don't know. I don't even want to try because in the end, you'll still have a 3W deuce and I won't.

I guess a congratulation is in order. Congrats. I still don't like you. :)

As more old people (hoarders) die with kids that have no interest in the hobby these will become an every day occurance. I think we are just entering a golden age of Barns Finds. Unfortunetly, our kids will get stuck with threads titled "87 Cadillac Cimarron storage locker find" Anyway, nice find and I say don't chop it.

Thanks, taken in the spirit with which it was meant. It was pretty great, it was a 12 hour drive home and I spent more time looking in the rear view than I did looking ahead. I know that I was very fortunate to get it, several other folks new about it and it took some serious scrambling to get the deal done. Wife is on me know about too many cars and spending too much money so the 3 window Zephyr I found last year might have to go. It's all good though, don't think I'd find another like this, I know they're out there but you got to be real lucky, I was.
