  5. MAN.I admire your approach. I've gotta bell much like that one, only one crank broken off... I think I can use your template to utilize it. Thanks!

  6. My Avatar, a 33-4 Ford 1 1/2 yard dump truck has been in our lives, parked in the barnlot, for over 30 yrs., a gift from a "new" neighbor, wanting to "clean up his lot"... I originally thought I'd "flip" the old bird, an move on, but it WAS an true-blue "City of Baker" truck, and had'nt gone far in its life... SOooo, it sat in OUR barnlot , awaiting our integration into OUR YARD. Pictures at 11.

  8. I'm a bit clumsy with the uploading... Getting ready to clean this thing up. Last license was 1950. Wonder when it was last washed....
LOVE the lichens on the North side, but I'm thinkin' they are probably actually contributing to the rust. Its so dry here, that the main rust issues are surface rust. Plenty of impact damage to everything, but I don't want to screw up the patina... Gotta love that it hasn't been "molested"... other than some of the worst welding imaginable. I DO have a parts rig, so I'll swap on another (stock) intake, an "un-bent" front axle, and a coupla tires. Stay tuned, and I'll show how this thing relates to the rest of our compound and our "Corner Tavern" scene

Using that wheel as a hose holder is a great idea. Gonna have to do that one next summer. Only I might use a spindle with a hand crank welded on for easy release and to wind the hose up.

Here's my yard art. Hidden from the road behind an evergreen, or else people constantly stop to ask if it's for sale.

I did this one this spring and I sold it. I am starting a similar one this week with parts of a 1963 Ford truck.

^^^^That's what my PU would like like if I drove it into my yard during the wet months here. By the way that is September through June for those taking notes.

I am finishing this one. It is on a tube frame with caster wheels so that it can be moved for mowing. I will be advertising it for sale soon. It has been a pocket money project. 91245181-B863-4562-A561-0F9B6C765E85_1_201_a-resized.jpeg
