Need to know the following things to build this fenton 3X2 holley 94 set up for our friend! They are model 59 carbs. Would like to know the correct Jet sizes for the Primary and Secondary?? The correct Power Valve size for the Primary?? Also need to know what all needs to be blocked off in the Secondaries to block the IDLE CIRCUIT we are used to Rochester 2G's and not sure what and where to block?? Help would be greatly appreciated! Im sure I will come up with more questions!
One way to block the idle circuits is to make a new body to base gasket, with no openings other than for the power valves, screws and throttle bores. Those would be the 2 innermost openings. 4TTRUK
what bases are on those carbs? Do you have other carbs for it? Those don't even look like they actually fit that intake? I have holley 2100's. 1 15/16th bore on mine. I don't recall the jet sizes. But i am right at the foot of pikes peak. So they are actually pretty large if I remember right. I did not block off the bases either. all 3 idle. Just turned down a lot on the outside 2.
They all came off of 94's i tore them all down and cleaned them all need to acid clean them and assemble them but want to know this good info first lol would like to block mine off. Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad
Seen it at a all Ford swap meet here in Dearborn.... The guy told me it was a (one off) Ford/Holley prototype and was asking $3000.00 for the whole setup.... I have a couple more pictures of it I could post later on after I get off of work...
Making a new gasket for the bases is a good way to do it and screw in the screws all the way in, also its a good idea when doing a 3x2 94 setup to get a slightly lower power valve number than stock for the secondaries, ive also used block offs with satisfactory results.
View attachment 1882160 . Looks great halfass set up blocked off idle circuits on secondaries with small flat screws and also blocked the hole below the main jet. So far lookin good. Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad
