Y-Block Piston Set

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by suede55bowtie, Mar 10, 2011.

  1. Need to find a piston set for my motor which seems easy enough, but here's the kicker. It's a '54 Ford Y-Block, 239ci that was bored .20 over back in the '60s sometime.

Block/cylinder walls look good, the motor is getting rebuilt right now. Everything is cherry besides one of my pistons is cracked. Need to find a set, and rings. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where to find or who to ask about this? I don't need domed pistons or anything, just something that will work.

It's either that....or find another motor for my hot rod. I'm at a dead end:(
