I need to make some space in my garage, so here's a great opportunity to get a great motor cheap. Here's the story on this motor, it was in a 1955 F-100 I bought a little over a year ago, but I'm not sure what size motor it is. The truck was dropped off at a repair shop to have the motor rebuilt, and never returned. I'm told the internals are all new. I dropped a battery in the truck, and the motor cranked, but didnt start. Not knowing much about the y block motors, I opted for a 289 that I'd heard run. The 3 speed trans comes with it, clutch felt very good and shifter felt fine in all the gears, although again, it wasnt running. I found a very nice 4bbl intake for it, so that goes with it too. It's complete from carb to pan, fan to trans. Hoping someone here can use it. First hundred bucks picks it up.
