Sounds good Jay, keeping your y block running shows good character. I grew up building all kinds of different Ford motors, even a few Chevy's and Dodges. I've never more fun than building these Y blocks. It seems like every time we run, someone will come find us and ask if it really has a Y block in the car.
that is an absolutely amazing engine, and here I was hoping to get around 300 HP from my 292. Unbelievable. If I wasn't so far away I know where I'd be getting my Y block built.
I bet guys on here that are building Y-Blocks for their traditional hot rods would like to see you expand on this comment a bit, some info on which of the vintage cast Y-block intakes worked well, and which were less impressive.
