X--GASSER'S dad's Vette project.

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by X--GASSER, Sep 23, 2007.

  1. He has been hitting this thing hard with a goal of running it at the Day Of The Drags in Temple. The car was a former drag car, then a show car and ended up sitting in a backyard in Carrollton until he found it in the mid eighties. Car was originally a 365 hp 327 4spd, then was raced with BBC power, then returned to smallblock with a TH400 which is the way he found it. Being a 4 speed guy he pulled the auto and reinstalled a Muncie, put his trademark solid 30-30 cam in it and drove it hard until about '92 and parked it. Time passed, life happened and now its comming back out of mothballs. This time he's built a 383 and is doing some safety upgrades. I'm trying to convince him to leave the paint alone as its more of a survivor and pisses most Corvette purist off, he likes that part. We hope to see you there.

I must say the Vectors look pretty cool on that vette, though redlines would look awesome on cragars, but yea, vectors dont look bad

Those wheels are the only things that will make those wheel flares look good(IMHO).
