Event Coverage WV Drag Racers HOF Cruise In 9/25/21

The West Virginia Drag Racers Hall of Fame will host an open Cruise-In at the museum in Winfield, WV on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 3:00 pm - dark. There will be an induction ceremony for the 2020 & 2021 new members at 5:00 pm (we did not have a ceremony in 2020 due to Covid). No entry fee (donations gladly accepted), dash plaques to first 100 cars, door prizes, games, museum tours, great food vendors, music and entertainment provided by Hot Rod Grille DJ followed by a nitro cacklefest with a pair of FED's at dusk. The museum is located at the Municipal Bldg. on Route 817 in Winfield. Call 304-586-0807 for more information.

 

NEWS FLASH JUST IN. The 1948 Anglia that was campaigned by the Stickle & Riffle / Rod Shop Team will be on display at the Cruise-In Saturday, September 25th. It can be seen in the staging lane pic above. Several racers from neighboring Ohio have stated that they plan to attend with their cars, too! Stay tuned for updates.

 

I just heard that famed chassis builder, J. Ed Horton (Horton Racecar Chassis), will be in attendance to assist with the Hundley & Boggs AA/FD 1967 AHRA World Champion FED.

Another famous car has registered to be at the Cruise In tomorrow (9/25/21)! The 1965 Plymouth AWB that was raced by Sox & Martin will be on display from 3:00 pm - dark. Sorry, I was unable to get the pic to load. Come see it and the others in person!
