I was on Hy 80 WB last week and east of SLC I saw what looked like a wreaking yard tucked up against a mountain. I am going back to SLC in a month and am wondering if a trip there would be worthwhile?
Any insights into this yard? Is it private? Thanks....Gary

Be more specific of where it is like up the canyon close to Wyoming or the east side of the Salt lake valley..

I'm thinking it's the one about 15 miles west of Evanston WY. I have always wanted to stop by there.

Yes, west of Evanston, WY. If you are w/b on Hy 80, it would be on your right, it looks like it is nestled up against a mountain. You can see it from the highway.

It isn't manned and you have to make an appointment with the guy to get in. He has no trespassing signs all over it as well.

I would much rather shop at a wrecking yard than a wreaking yard.
