funny thing about it is i think my wife and kids would be more upset then me if i sold it as they consider it part of the family. finally after over 6 months my wagon came home from the body shop saturday and right after picking it up i parked it in the garage and went to the ft lauderdale auto auction just for laughs. while talking to my wife and kids they asked why did i go and then proceeded to tell me not to get any ideas of selling the wagon. another time was as i was leaving for the 2012 hot rod power tour i was talking to my youngest daughter who was 10 at the time and i said i was going to gas monkey garage in dallas on my way and she started crying, so i asked why and she said daddy don't sell my car i grew up in it . So i guess the answer is no

  11. No ....

Yes but it's kind of false advertising. The actual car is in pretty sad shape...big glue drops all over it and fingerprints on the glass, er, "windows" flames cracked and the trim looks like a twelve-year-old put it on with a silver paint marker.

  14. It would probably kill me at my age, but I am saving money right now. She looks better than a 32 3 window.

After waiting 50+ years for this one and spending the last 4-years building it, I'll own it 'til I die !

Just hope I get to drive it before I die

I sold my avatar years ago but still like the look of the car so it's my avatar. I might change it to one of my cars I still have one of these days. But don't see any reason to change it because I sold the car.

I don't use a avatar because someone might make offer way too much money for it.

It can be fun to make a big profit, then use the funds to start a new project.

Depends. How much are you offering, or what do you have to trade?

I used to sell 49-54 Chevrolet parts on ebay and since I had a bunch of auctions running I figured I'd sell prints of my avatar. probably sold 10 or so over time for 5 bucks each.

I don't think its legal to sell my daughter and I doubt if I would. Her value in inspiration is worth more than most could afford. Although she is doing much better now than she was doing at this point in her recovery I keep it as a reminder of what hard work can achieve. Rod

    Hell No, I Won't Sell!

I bought it in 1975 for $200, and have had a million dollars worth of fun with it! What a deal!

But you can buy it off my wife, the day after I'm dead...
