Was thinking of having a show in rushville il.,,,I had a couple memorial poker runs for my wife that passed away two years ago..but to many retards drunk on mototrcycles made me stop this,,,too mush of a hassle,,,would be second weekend in aug. Let me know who is interested,, or if it would be a waste of my time...
He's about 50 miles NW of Springfield and maybe 100 miles N of St Louis. If you want to do market research for the car show, you gotta let folks know where you is and where you isn't. Stu
rushville is where 67 and 24 meet 1 hour nw of springfield,,35 40 mins south of macomb,,about hour an a half from wayland mo.. but that was in a slow 64 truck,,pretty central,,small town,,thought maybe some interest
If the date worked out, I'd be there and could bring a pile of others with me. The biggest problem with starting a new one today is there are 17 shows/runs to choose from every weekend. Rushville's just up the road a piece!

Bub, You sort of pissed in your own Cherrios's. You first came on here 12/29 @ 02:47 and posted about any interest in a show, Then again 7 hours later @ 12/29 11:59 you bumped it to try and get the thread to the top. Then again you posted 15 hours later 11/30 @8:15 and said "Not worth the Hassle", because no one posted. On 12/31 @ 4:56 you posted to "Breeder" "figured you guys would make this way, my pos made it your way" Then on 12/31 @10:14 you advertise here on the H.A.M.B wanting some cheap bands. And if that isn't good enough for you, you go over to a different site today @ 01:21 and bad mouth "What did I piss off the yuppies?" 1. Because you show up for someone's show, they are "Not Obligated" to attend yours. 2. Definately not good manners to go to another site and and bad mouth, "Yuppies". I see where you joined the H.A.M.B in June and you had only joined that "Other" site in May. You're sure off to a good start about making a name for yourself here. HellRaiser
An interesting reply to someones post. I do not know if the two of you have some history but it seems like you came down a little hard on someone that really did not cause a problem. Over the years I have read some things that I thought were a waste of space but I just held my tongue and moved on. If you do like his post, do not read them. John
if you read the post on the other site you will see I said in an earlier post no gtos or chevelles,that were the only rules for the show so far,,,And in the post to breeder I think I stated that I didn't want to ssound like an ass..so if I pissed you off hellraiser,,I'm sorry you misunderstood,,,and if you had a show or was thinkin of havin a show would you advertise at more than one place???
