I haven't been out to BJ for several years, though it's just across town.....got fed up with the whole thing, quality of cars going downhill, access to the good cars severely restricted, high ticket prices and too many people. This year the "feature" cars are roped off, but with much better access. We only had three hours to spend and shot only the central feature car area, but were amazed at the quality of at least the featured cars. On shots where I couldn't zoom in past the ropes, I have photoshopped out the ropes. I'm ready to go back today and see the other 99%. Virgil Exner's apex, the Chrysler Diablo, a lengthened 300. Hudson Italia Concept Talbot Lago T-26. Custom body on grand prix chassis. Saoutchik Bodied '49 Delahaye. This is the true color, which is off on the second detail shot. Murphy bodied '34 Deusenburg J. What can I say? Pierce Arrow One more of the Diablo for good measure. I't's the ultimate 50's concept car for me. I'll post more shots if there is anything else out there today that is worthy of your discriminating taste.
