World's Fastest Hippie, Mike Mitchell

The Hamberis and Mitchell Willys was one of my favorite cars as a kid, before he messed it up with all the modifications, tube frame, etc. In fact I used it as a prototype for the scratch built 1/24th scale fiberglass model (built with 00-90 nuts and bolts ala the Yonts brothers did on their Revell national model car contest winning dragster models) '33 Willys coupe I built in about 1965.

 

Not to bad mouth Him but Mike was probably the worlds quickest hippie but not the fastest... It's all symantics but annoying to an LSR guy.
