  1. Outstanding!
    How does it drive?

  2. That kicks ass and sounds great.

LOL - yeah that guy looks nothing like you.:D

Looks like a real short wheelbase on the truck.

    Thank you, guys.
Maybe too early to say, the drive was too short, but it is very firm and feels real stable, despite the short wheelbase (original Commer).
It's a very small PU in all directions and smaller it will be (height) :D.

Mine is a 1948 Q15 superpoise. Im guessing yours is the facelift model with the headlights in the front wings (would have been a bit faster too as they had an updated engine put in)

  10. Great to see it running! That thing sounds awesome by the way...

Boy, they sure don't waste any space on...DOORS...in Sweden, do they???!!

How was the temp after your drive? Think it will cool well enough?

    Cool.
I can see the similarity between the two models, they share the dashboard, doors and steering wheel/column.

When I bought mine it was only a shell, nothing of the interior or bed was left. And spareparts you can forget!!!
    Thats why the radical mods.

Congrats on the successful test drive.

It will look great with the bodywork back in place.

    Mart.

  20. I just found this thread. Looks like a great build. I was just in Malmoe late last year. If I make it back again, I will have to look you up to come see this in person.

    That would be great!
What I'm looking most for is interior pictures and some facts regarding what version was sold where.
I guess the flat bed was sold i Europe and the "Commonwealth", the pickup with steel bed, in the States. But that's just a guess.
Mine was sold as a flat bed, since there is no signs of a gas filler neck in the cab corners.

    Thanks.

I was lucky, never thoght about the doors... but will lower the roof to be on the safe side.
I have no idea how the temp was, luxury items like gauges are not installed yet.
No seriously, the ride was really short so the thermostat never even opened.
There is two 2-speed fans under the radiator. I think it will be enough.
Will also fabricate an air scope back at the bed. (Who automaticly open up when I pass the sound barrier... or at 40 - 50 mph)

  25. More rustrepair, lower half of the right door ready and some more waiting...
Put some "rusteater" on the inside of the celing to get a more firm surface.
First it turns white, then black. Half celing is done.
Some sanding is needed wich gives you that nice redish face colour...
I wish each and everyone of you a very mery X-mas and a happy New Year!
