At 10:22 this morning the USFRA cancelled the World of Speed Bonneville time trials event on their website. This has been confirmed on the landracing.com website. A huge suck pill for those of us ready to attend.

  3. Yep inquireing minds want to know.

Maybe cancelled because of lack of interest? It has been raining in western navada, did the salt get the back side of that and become inundated?

Monsoon downpour from earlier in the week left standing water on the track

Sucks. Was looking forward to going. Guess I'll have to find something else to do now.

  7. That's too bad. Was just at the shop yesterday looking at the changes to the Poteet and Main car. They were pretty excited about more runs over 400

Terrible news. I know a local salt racer here in MN trying to hit 200 this year in his un-chopped 34 5 window. Looks like he will have to wait until next year......
