workin on my 54 chevy chop

    nice. I like the use of the hardtop trunk lid, brings the rear in proportion with the front.

    thanks man tryin to get everything so it looks right, gonna cut an inch and flatten the deck lid a bit too, just enough to give a little lower look. Later

    lookin sharp. was it more work than you expected or did it go pretty easy? what would you have done different and what did you do that worked well?

    i started with the sedan package tray but its a little narrower at the back glass so i cut up a parts hardtop and used that truck opening, a lot of cutting and such but it will be worth it. Later thanks

    looks good.... i've never like the look of the extended area between the glass and the deck lid. but i never seen it done this way either.

    great idea, good job

    I've got a buddy who chopped a 53' sedan, and it's killer! What I like about it most is the way he leaned the sedan pillars forward. Yours is nice too! Good luck!

    Nicely done, I have a notion that that will be one of my favorite chopped 54 Chevs when you get it done. It looks like you have the proportions nailed from what I can see.

    This, ladies and gents is chopping a top the right way and not just wacking it down and seeing how short you can get the side windows.
