Well after a hell of a night last night, Dustin "VonDust" Finished spraying color at about 4 am this morning. So the wait is over!
Now we just have to wet sand, Buff and put all the pieces back together. Still have a long way to go but we can at least see daylight now.

BTW, have you been to Leo's to get the bumpers yet?

    Man... what a nice truck!

  6. I've been waiting for this update. Nice work!

  7. Nice-looks Chrysler in front end, or maybe one of the Russian knock-offs from the early 60's. Either way, it looks good.

Thanks all, Picked up bumpers this morning, not completely happy with them, but no time to fix before World of Wheels. The next few days will be buttoning up everything. Cant wait to see the final product all together. What the hell, nothing else better to do with all of this snow!

Like the scoops as well as the rest of the truck. Did you put a small wedge cut in hood ? If so , how much ?

I saw your truck today at the show. The paint is slicker than snot . Very cool truck. You have every right to be upset about the bumpers though. I hope Leo makes it right. He has been having some issues with contamination in his nickel tank recently, which explains the speckling.

Thanks Josh, I hope he makes it right too, if not I may be trying to get ahold of you if you do plating.

Yes I do plating. We are about 1 hour's drive east from Indy. Leo actually helped us a lot to get started in our present location almost 6 years ago, and he is a good guy to talk to. He does have some plating quality issues which stem mostly from staffing issues. It is really hard to get employees who can do custom work.
