Wood top kit install

    So im trying to figure out how to install the wood kit back into my 30 Coupe.. Its missing all the top wood besides the side headers... Trying to figure how i get those out and how to install the front header?? any help would be appriciated

    Mac's Antique Auto Parts ( 800 777-0948 ) sells a book with
    all the info, and pics for coupes, sedans, etc. that shows the
    complete wood installation.

    Model A Ford Mechanics Handbook Vol. 2 $31

    Not cheap, but worth it.

    I'm right behind you doing the same with a 29 coupe. Do you have all the brackets.

    You have to remove the windsheild, the panel above it and the outside visor. The header slides in from the front. I just did the top wood in mine, like a puzzle.

    Pretty much exactly what Ramsey said for the installation. Check and re-check EVERYTHING before and during installation. If something is out of line...your vinyl top installation is going to suffer.

    baspinall, yah I have all the brackets luckily.... thanks for the Leads guys.. Im not gonna put the vinyl top back on...
