Installing my wood side rails. The passenger side went in perfect, the drivers is another story. From the b pillar back the side rail bows out and does not line up. Cars a 30 Tudor. I stacked the two side rails on the floor and they are curved the same (one inverted) any help appreciated on how to resolve this. I can draw it in with clamps but it pushed the roof line out and my bows don’t fit very well.

Above the doors, or up at the top opening? I’d guess your body is bent. Any welding or patching been done on it? Parts from different bodies been used?

Above the door and side window. It does have steel b pillars tacked in place I might remove and see if that helps. Other than that and a small patch in the bottom it’s original.

    Hmmmmmm.

If you give a mouse a cookie......

This mainly comes from working on old houses and barns.......
Sometimes the only option is custom fit.
If you have to custom make that piece what else is it going to throw off?
If you square that area....what else is going to throw off?
You have to choose the lesser of two evils.
