Wood Body Blocks VS; Plastic

Has any one used plastic to replace wood body blocks?

Nothing better (or more traditional, or cheaper) than a nice solid piece of Ash or Hickory for those mounts.

 

While I agree with this statement, plastic does not absorb water which can rust metal. If not too expensive, go with the plastic.
